Discover the Dharma November 10th
This practice developed by Barbara Dilley invites us to inhabit the images that arise from an open space and an open mind. All are invited to offer an image. All are invited to simply witness and hold space as a “well wisher.” All are welcome and no performance or audience experience required.
About the Practice
Red Square Practice is a practice in spontaneous composition. We begin by cultivating the state of the artists/witness, the place from which images arise. We inhabit the images with bodies, movement, objects, sound, and stories. They have their moment in time and then dissolve. The space is cleared. Another image waits.
Allies are what Barbara Dilley calls objects, or other elements that come together in the creative process. Light and sound could be allies. The Red Square itself is an ally
Red Square Laboratory is instigated and facilitated by Joshua Lorris. Special thanks to Lindsay Foresythe and The Open Space for hosting this event.
